I like that she talks about planning to start and knowing your personal goals for following intermittent fasting. Knowing your why is so important! For women over 50 they experience lower metabolism, achy joints, reduced muscle mass, and sleep issues. If you’re over 50 and overweight, losing weight can be harder and it’s even more important to lose weight over 50 due to increased risk of significant health concerns. Following intermittent fasting can increase life expectancy, help burn fat and lose weight, improve cardiovascular health, and help prevent and/or manage diabetes. I need a reset. Intermittent Fasting is extremely popular. This book is a real good guide. I learned it's not just about when you eat, you have to choose wisely and pay attention to nutritional value. I was surprised there were so many methods. It's a bonus that there are also some recipes included. There are so many reasons to start IF: increased metabolism, fat and weight loss, body detox and cellular repair.
